1. BINDING AGREEMENT
Welcome to the Medhat Bot. This document constitutes a legally binding agreement between you and Moham Overkill regarding your use of the Medhat Bot and related features. By accessing or using the bot within your server, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to follow these guidelines as well as our Privacy Policy.
2. VIRTUAL ECONOMY & ENGAGEMENT MECHANICS
Any virtual features, points, or digital items associated with the bot are strictly designed for community engagement and entertainment.
- • No Monetary Value: Virtual assets and points have absolutely no real-world financial value. They cannot be exchanged, sold, or redeemed for cash, securities, or tangible goods.
- • Server-Specific Isolation: To maintain fairness and community integrity, all virtual balances, points, and configurations are isolated to the specific Discord server where they were earned. Balances do not transfer across different servers.
3. PROHIBITED CONDUCT
To ensure a safe and fair environment for all users, the following actions are strictly prohibited:
- • Real-World Trading (RMT): Selling, purchasing, or attempting to trade virtual points or server features for real-world money or external services.
- • Automation & Abuse: Using unauthorized macros, auto-clickers, or external scripts to manipulate the bot's systems and gain an unfair advantage on leaderboards.
- • Malicious Intent: Engaging in phishing, scamming, or any activity designed to defraud other users, disrupt server operations, or harm the community.
- • Note that: Medhat Bot is an open-source application with its source code publicly available at GitHub. While you are welcome to view and utilize the public code, using it to maliciously exploit active instances of the bot is prohibited.
4. MESSAGE CONTENT & CORE FUNCTIONALITY
In strict accordance with Discord Developer Policies, the bot only processes message content when it is absolutely necessary for its core functionality. We do not store message context in any database; it is held temporarily in volatile memory (RAM) strictly for anti-spam purposes and is discarded immediately after processing. Core functionality includes:
- • Detecting and responding to explicit bot commands.
- • Executing server-configured moderation filters.
- • Processing message activity to award users with points, update MVP statuses, and manage server leaderboards.
We actively process this data in real-time and do not archive, log, or track message history for non-functional purposes.
5. DISCORD POLICY COMPLIANCE
We operate in strict adherence to Discord's Developer Terms of Service and Developer Policy. By using Medhat, you must also comply with Discord's overarching community guidelines. Violations of Discord's fundamental rules will result in an immediate block from utilizing our bot's services.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The Medhat Bot is provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind. Moham Overkill shall not be held liable for any damages or inconveniences arising from your use of the bot, including but not limited to:
- • Temporary loss of access to server configurations or virtual points due to technical maintenance or outages.
- • Issues arising from decisions made by third-party server administrators using the bot's moderation tools.
7. TERMINATION OF SERVICE
We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the bot at any time if we determine that your conduct violates these terms, exploits the service, or presents a risk to the broader community.
